Amanda Burke, fine artist and decorative painter, grew up in both New York City and Laguna Beach, CA. Having over 20 years of experience in her field as a faux finisher, interior designer, and decorative painter has rendered her an indispensable resource to many designers, contractors, and property owners across the country.

Burke developed a passion for interiors and pursued an education at the Domus Academy in Milan, Italy as well as at Parsons School of Design in New York City. Soon after, Burke relocated to San Francisco, California to apprentice for Elisa Stancil and her decorative painting firm.

Amanda Burke then recruited her own talented team, Amanda Burke Faux Finishing & Design. With offices in both Laguna Beach, California and New York City, Burke has had opportunities to create elegant and dynamic environments for her clients.

Burke and her team, with their great sense of color and unique concepts approach each project distinctively. Burke’s team specializes in decorative painting, murals, faux finishing, unique wall treatments, gilding, venetian plaster, trompe l’oeil, wood graining, tortoiseshell, malachite, all marbles, limestone, and more.

Amanda Burke’s work has been featured in publications such as Architectural Digest, Vanity Fair, Veranda, Better Homes and Gardens, and Orange Coast Magazine, to name a few.

 

Currently, Amanda Burke is focusing her career on fine art using expertise gained from working in interiors. Many of the finishing’s and treatments are utilized in her art work. Each piece is designed from her unique inspirations and with consumer interiors in mind.
